RIP: Steff

This makes my heart heavy. Genuinely a lovely guy with a calming vibe. Last time I spoke to him he seemed happy about the move (maybe I was jealous) but this is a terrible shocker :(((((((((((((

Damn! I just heard about this. He was a proper gent at all times and I will miss seeing him at forum drinks and other lfgss events.

Did anyone else think he had a knack for just turning up out the blue. Like I never met him anywhere conventional it was always random.

I remember the day of the women's Olympic race, I was standing in the rain on Box Hill, drenched, watching the big screen. I turn to my left and there he was just grinning at me. My friends and I got the train home that day, he rode in the torrential rain back.

I also saw this on Facebook, I think it's terribly sad.

Steff was a great guy, as everyone has said he was always an interesting, charming chap to bump into.

RIP Steff. Such a cool guy. Gonna miss you man

if only that what he missed most in this life will be there for him, where he is now. i miss his thoughts on things, the way his ideas could make you feel better. his contagious love for bikes - for the details and the suffering - far exceed mine.

i feel so sorry, endlessly sorry, to have met you and failed to be a friend... one that could have talked you out of it...
