did you not go through this with your shoes?
perhaps you need to ask on the AQA thread what size garments you need, it may be a more successful shopping strategy than you trying things on.

am struggling to work out the solution to this problem
spent all day outdoors teaching and my fingers were frozen
is there an outer goretex (or similar) shell that you can add to your normal gloves for cold/wet days. layering tends to be the best solution for clothing issues so was wondering if anyone can suggest something.
I got a pair of these, http://www.rohan.co.uk/Product/Detail/MensAccessories_02953?ocode=02953595
only really needed them this week. Outside for 5 hours today, not particularly active, I would normally get quite cold. Not with these though, and OK for riding there and back too. -

Fit fine in the shop, but when you hold the drops the fabric is pushed back into the fork of your hand between thumb and forefinger and this makes the fingers (thumb especially) too short.
You cunt.

Dammit, you should try your clothes on instead of just weighing them.

My ergo 3's are now too small.
It's depressing. -

i got these not too long ago, http://www.sportsdirect.com/hot-tuna-ski-gloves-mens-405079 and I have to say for the money they work a treat, had them on in heavy rain and cold, with only the mildest of moisture from perspiration

I cut the tags off though- reckon Condor will kick up a fuss?
Ah you know what to do, be polite, show them your strada result, etc. and I'm sure it'll be fine.

i got the sealskinz winter cycling gloves today
not entirely sure about them, warm and dry but the lining slips around against the outer when on the hoods. so a bit like dammit, the problem only became apparent when i actually used them. it just feels a little disconcerting having your hands slide around when they are meant to be gripping. perhaps i will learn to adapt
am using them on the MTB tomorrow, so may have an idea if they are better suited to offroad applications

+1
I really suffer from cold hands/feet and these are the nuts.
These are the business. Mine fell apart from use but got them refunded.
Keep my hands warm and dry, sub 0, or pissing it down.
Will get moist from hand sweat if warm though, but all good waterproof gloves will. -

Snowboarding gloves were used this morning. Dexterity fail, but warm toasty and dry after 4 miles in the pouring rain.

This weird feeling settles as the gloves wear in and the plastic liner settles DJ

I also have very cold hands and I use HeavyTools Snowboard gloves with their own liners in cold conditions. It was -13 when my fingers was cold in them. In this mild conditions that we have now I use them without liners, however my fingers are sweating still.

It would appear that my hands are too large for SealSkinz.
I now have a pair of XXL Craft "Ventair X Wind" Zoidburg gloves, we shall see if these work out better.

I have a pair of the L/XL you can have for £20 posted if you like. Maybe 2 weeks' use. They do work well, but they're not for my Reynaud's afflicted hands. The main problem I had with them though is that they get a bit pongy since they work by being 100% non-breathable. They do come up fresh as a daisy though with a wash or even a light soak.
Well, I'm clearly very special- I bought gloves that are too small.
Back they go tomorrow for a swap to XL.
