Childhood Lust - No Lusardi or Fox pix please...

There I was, each and every morning riding the bus to School circa 1982, awaiting the stop opposite the bike shop that displayed the most wonderful goods a teenage lad could dream of. It appeared one day, the SE Bikes -PK Ripper, it was just awesome. Now at the time I had a decent enough Mongoose and had no real reason to covet another frame, but oh my, it was wonderful.

The biggest obstacle for a teenage lad was always money. I had a paper round, but £5 a week was never going to get me the £400 needed for this wonderful machine. So each and every day for over a year, I passed this unsold bike in the window and promised myself I would one day own it.

I never did buy one, but think of it every now and then and trawl ebay to see if I can pick one up for £100, but I'd need ten times that amount to actually purchase one. So here I am 30 years later, still riding that fucking bus...

What was your childhood dream bike, did you secretly dream of your mates Super Burner? Or did you dream of one day owning something exotic and untouchable like a Kuwahara? Pictures please, no excuses.

Had to make do with a mark 1 Burner, which in hindsight wasnt all bad. The rich kids rocked these and Torkers. I really wanted one.
