Anodizing is a fairly straightforward electrochemical prosedure. Main things to remember are 1. Be careful, know what youre doing 2. Prepare the items properly.
Like sumo said, whatever buckets/bathtubs/barrels you have, its all good. You dont want too big of a container though, you'll waste a lot of acid and aluminum if its too big.
I wont explain the whole procedure here. First of all, English aint my native language and i might be misunderstood. Second, dont want to be responsible of "OMG i accidently this bad".
