For Sale: Batavus 531 Professional frame and fork and goodies 56cm

Hello folks! So I have recently purchased this frame as a full bike off the forum, and was planning on selling my old peugeot frame and keeping this as a posh winter beater but have had a change of heart and so am selling on this frame instead.

A lovely Reynolds 531 professional frameset with a nice shimano headset in an unusual white (the old shimano 600 one was brinelled and fooked)

This is clearly a very high end frame, is lightweight has nicely cut out lug work, fancy rear bridge, wrap around seatstays, chrome chainstays/dropouts, and cut-out bottom bracket shell. AMEV colours from when they sponsored the Dutch national team, paint in pretty good condition given the age of the frame, but some marked areas due to cable rub. No dents, dings or rust and the frame is straight.

Rear spacing is I think 126mm (stupidly didnt measure it), nice chromed Campag horizontal dropouts would also make it an easy conversion to SS.

Will be happy to throw in some shimano 600 downtube shifters and the original gipiemme cranks as well, both in good nick. Can also include the shimano 600 27.0 seatpost (though one of the top retaining bits for this has cracked and though still safe could do with a replacement part) Also have a pair of mavic cosmos cartridge bearing wheels in blue that I would include in the package for an extra 70 quid (a steal!).

Pickup would need to be from West London next weekend (30th/1st Dec)

Looking for only 90 quid for the frame

lets call it 180 for the frameset, seatpost, cranks, shifters and wheels?

Please dont make me offers on the bits unless you are taking the frame.

That's a bargain......the frame has a number hanger tab on the top tube, which gives a hint to it's obvious class and heritage......

Dibs...I am looking for a SS conversion and that looks perfect.
