I'm not saying you wount find a muddy race in those regions (might be streching it calling aus a region) but its notably dryer overall. Especially since its summer in AUS when its cross season in europe.
That Las Vegas cyclocross event is always bone dry (not really surprising). And there is a surprising amount of summer cross events in the US in general.
Anyway, you wouldn't be in trouble for most/many races with caliper brakes in those places.
