If there had been a list we wouldn't have had the four we had, and i really enjoyed the constant 2v2 we played.

It must be said though that the league has gone from being there to ensure people play during the winter, to making it harder to get games in winter.

Maybe we need consider making the league a summer league?

The league is good Lou. Now you're looking at getting 8 people together + potentially a ref and 2 goal refs, and that's alot of peeps. There are more people in town during the winter, encourages people to come out and play, little to no tourneys, and it helps people practice and improve over the winter months. I think if you're looking to play pickup then follow the league games, go ref/goalref, otherwise maybe organise team practices/friendlies, or just risk playing 2v2... but bring a flask of hot toddy or mulled wine down with you.
