It that the original fork?
-
• #8
If you split I'd be interested in the cranks, chainring and perhaps the rear cogs, pending some information
-
• #9
Not splitting - no reason to believe the fork is not original.
-
• #10
Let me know if you wud like to split the wheels set

What a bargain.
Sometimes this forum is weird. Time of year may affect that, I notice there's a lot of posts about mudguards and cross tyres right now. If you offered this in May for more money people would be biting your hand off for it.

If this was after christmas I would definitely be taking it off your hands.
-
• #14
In fact would you consider posting? Just in case I can get the money together.

• #15
Yeah - must be the shit weather.

I need a track bike tomorrow. Can certainly give you cash upfront. I'm somewhere shy of the asking price tho. Please pm me. Hope we can work something out

You had £400 on another thread for a £600 bike, why not now? Maybe get some class and take you're auction style low balling to PM's....

Nice @johnstone. I seen him offering that stupidly cheeky price of 400 for a fuji track pro.

Because I'm having to borrow the money
Lovely vintage (early / mid 90's I think) Graham Weigh Track bike in metallic yellow to deep red fade. Constructed from good ole' Reynolds double butted 531 tubing with straight rake fork and shot in rear seat stays - not drilled for a rear brake. Looks great and handles brilliantly. Very very, very light, very strong and very quick if you want it to be. Does come with a few chips and scratches.
Components include -
Sealed Shimano BB with nice retro Suntour cranks.
Cinelli drop bars with Shimano levers. Front brake fitted for road use.
Black seatpost (27.2) with classic Flite saddle to top it off.
Rear wheel is a Ambrosio double fixed (you can run a freewheel) complete with 2 cogs and 1 lock ring. 1/8 track chain fitted.
Front is an Alessa. Both 700c and shod with decent/recent Maxxis Detonator tyres with good puncture resistance.
Everything freely adjustable - nothing seized - solid and straight and ready to roll.
Size wise this is 54 cm c-t seat tube and 54 cm c-c top tube. To suit from 5"7 to 5"10 I imagine give or take.
Viewing and a test ride very welcome - just get in touch by PM with any questions and enquiries.
£280
Cheers!
