why would you use a vice ??? use a hammer and if you want to use the pins again use a allo drift

I'd put a ratchet socket over the flat end of the pins and clamp the vice over the crank arm/socket and give it a turn to pop it out into the socket.
I doubt I'll reuse the pins so will probably just use a hammer, the left crank arm has cracked at the pedal eye, will probably replace the whole lot.

Luca, i've got a 32T deore you can have, but it's currently attached to my polo bike. I have no time to get it swapped for this new one i've got, so if you do the donkey work you can have it? (i.e. ride my polo bike to the shop and get it swapped out).

This Giant TCR road frame from about 2002/3 is in superb condition and will make a great road bike. It is sized a medium with a sloping top tube.

i got some wheels with bladed spokes i can throw in if needed (for extra)

Does anyone have a decentish front wheel? Can be anything really. My surly LHT got stripped of some good stuff last night out side a friends house, I was only but 20 feet away, yet the little twat managed to get my front wheel, Thomson seat post, a well used brooks swift and part of my front canti and the shit stem i had on there. If anyone sees this stuff (mostly the swift as I love that saddle) on eBay or Gumtree or something, let me know straight away. Also the wheel was a Phil wood road hub to dp18...

Hate these people... I'll keep an eye out. I do have a prolite wheel you could have for £40 with a tyre but not exactly the same league as phil wood

Wheel in good condition with some wear to the rim but many, many miles left in the rim.

Hollow spindle so needs a skewer which i don't have.

What is the OLN of the rear hubs? might take a set I think I am looking for 126mm but I'll check. Also got any more info on that guitar? I assume it is just a beginners one
