I'd put a ratchet socket over the flat end of the pins and clamp the vice over the crank arm/socket and give it a turn to pop it out into the socket.
I doubt I'll reuse the pins so will probably just use a hammer, the left crank arm has cracked at the pedal eye, will probably replace the whole lot.
