Looking for some recommendations for bands for an event I'm involved with. Need a UK band that play motor cycle infused rock & roll, pyshc rock, alt rock type thing - maybe a bit of slide guitar for good measure.
Have money to pay them, looking for a known band, have decent venue, punters etc.
Suggestions please.
If you want a big name BRMC are currently touring and they did the Bulldog Bash a few years back

Crispin -thanks, I'd love BRMC but they're probably too big for both our budget and venue.
I saw them play the Brighton Centre a few years back - awesome band.
Ideally looking for someone from the states who can sell about 150 - 200 tickets - they need to be touring europe as we can't afford to bring them over for one date only!
Thanks

My friends friends Crocodiles were around, not sure if they are what you want, or if they are around still - can't access myspaz from work to see their tour schedule.
Nice guys. -

Saw Weird War at the Underworld in Camden back in '05, there was about 100 people there it was awesome

Saw him in the Old Blue Last with a coffee and a notepad once, about the time of Soft Focus, I'd imagine he was thinking up one-liners/drawing cocks

£60 a pop is pretty spendy, but a really interesting idea

Autobahn or Radio-Activity for me

The Mix and Tour de France I reckon - greatest hits and some new stuff with a bona fide classic thrown in
-
• #865
That looks amazing.
Ideally, I'd like to go to The Mix and then Tour de France (well, I'd like to go to ALL of them) but I'd be happy with any one of them.
I'm going to try for at least two of the shows so either The Mix and TdF or Trans Europe Express and The Man Machine I think are my first two choices.

They did 2 tracks in 3D in Manchester, so these full 3D gigs will be splendid indeed!
Man Machine is a good call too
