Haven't heard it so couldn't say, will check it out though. To be honest I listen to a lot less guitar music these days than I used to, my interest is more in electronic/experimental music right now as I find it more interesting, I cant say I wholly disagree with your frustration at the state of 'indie' and new guitar based music
