Favourite album of 2012

Sorry, I forgot that music journalism had to be deadly serious. Not that my blog is anything other than deadly serious you understand.

Anyway, can anyone name any bands doing something genuinely new and interesting? Maybe who released a damn fine record in 2012?

It doesn't have to be serious, but then just don't expect anyone to take you seriously.

I'm fairly certain of what reaction you were trying to get from both the pieces but you also seem genuinely surprised by mine and Tom's responses.
