For sale is my Mercian lo pro, 700/650 wheels. The micro geometry and the fact that it's meant to run with a lot of seatpost makes measurements a bit tricky, but I'm about 5"10' and usually ride about a 54cm bike, and it fits well.
Somewhat regretful sale, but I've run out of space in the shed, and a man should probably only own one lo pro at a time, so it's time to move this one on.
I bought this from the forum a couple of years ago for less than this is for sale - before anyone makes a fuss it's since been refurbished (flambouyant Red - lovely in the sunlight) by Chas Roberts with new Mercian decals - the price rise is justified in this instance.
It's got some lovely details - aero headtube, internal brake routing down the downtube and the filled in seatstays in particular. No puppies killed, it can be set up with gears again trivially. I imagine it cost an absolute fortune from Mercian originally.
It's great for messing around in London - I've done London->Brighton and London->Cambridge on it, so it's rideable over longer distances but obviously not the comfiest.
The frame will come with a tange headset and miche bottom bracket. If you want the wheels also (White industries / Mavic CXP33) then please feel free to ask, but I won't split the wheels or the 20t rear cog (it's one of those splined ENO ones).
I will not post - collection only from Stamford Brook station.
