MID bottom bracket

So, I bought one of the cheapo leader shadows, thinking (foolishly), that I could use normal cranks with a normal bottom bracket.

Instead I need a mid bb and some bmx/fgfs cranks. This is something I know absolutely nothing about. I'd like a bigger chain ring aswell and I'm not sure how possible this is with these sorts of cranks.

Does anybody have the requisite kit I need to get this up and running, or shall I just abandon this project and go back to what I know...

I haven't got anything you need,
but to answer your question about a larger chainring size, 104 bcd 4 arm spiders, and *130 bcd 5 arm*road spiders that fit onto 48 spline Bmx axles (the most commonly used today) are pretty easily available. the 104 bcd will fit from 32 to about 44, and the 130 bcd obviously fits practically anything up from a 38/39
