I have some Shimano 2200 8spd shifters. I think they can be run double or triple?

Anyone know?

According to the shimano site 2200 is 2x8 and 2203 is 3x8, but thanks anyway!

I have some ultegra 600 ones which may be a triple, they are currently on my bike though. Im attempting to repair a set of rx100 shifters to replace them, If all goes well I'd be looking to get rid of them. If you haven't found anything in a week drop me a pm I might of finished by then.

Do you know if the old shifter were double/triple specific?
