There have been good threads of this for the last couple of years. Reading this ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/musicblog/2012/nov/26/guardian-best-albums-2012-40-21 ) today made me think it is about time to begin one for 2012.
If I am being honest, I'm not sure I have a really good contribution to start the discussion with. As ever, I am sure others will have plenty of ideas.
