  • you used to play with him or vice versa? all getting a bit jimmy savile

  • I've still got mine :)
Makes up for loss in hundreds / kudos from when I swapped my brothers' OG batmobile (the one with the flames coming out the back when you rotated the little plastic wheel) for a pair of yellow mag wheels. Still a sore subject. Wish I'd kept the mag wheels.

  • As an only child I think I've owned every single thing so far.
I won't bother linking Transformers and Action Mans but what about this beauty?

I had castle greyskull too obvs

  • ^^ Is that Mask?

  • I found this while clearing my parents loft out. last year.

I had no idea how it work but my 8 yo took it transformed it then said it was rubbish...I had a little play before packing it away and saying I chucked it.

  • ^^ Is that Mask?

    Boulder Hill motherfucker!

I acquired the cartoon series recently, as you do, it's monumentally shit.

  • Seems logical.

  • Magnets FTW.

Used for playing split the kipper

*When I was really young we used a screw driver instead.

  • Seems logical.

Not really, we watched The original series of Thundercats and Transformers and they were still tippity top.

Except for one scene in Thundercats when Mumm-ra changed into Pumm-ra, I mean how gullible do you have to be?

  • Used for playing split the kipper

    I'm in.

    1. Crafty
  • ^^ No. Boulder. Hill.

  • You're a boulder hill

We played that too! Lobbing darts at each other was pretty popular too. My mate accidentally stuck one in his brother's head. We really had to pull to get the fucker out.

    These were also incredibly ace:

    Best toy I ever had.

  • Object is Bishop?

  • He prefers the term 'synthetic person'

  • If this is turning into 'boy soldier' thread then.

  • I still have my gat sitting under my bed, shot my mate in the neck with it last year.

  • My sister and I used to get my dad to drill a hole in random pieces of wood. Typically 2 by 1, as above. We tied some string through the hole and dangled them in the fast flowing river at the end of our garden. We pretended out bits of wood were battle ships. (No euph). We would do this all day.

Issues or great imaginations, I'm not sure which.

  • I'll just leave this here.

  • My dad did a job for company that make this incredible plastic tubing that was near indestructible. It was weird stuff that you could weld together.
Anyway, this company knocked up two sets of these tubes, welded on a thicker tubed as a handle and sprayed them with fluorescent orange paint.
    Hey presto, light sabers.

Me and my brothers knocked fuck out of each other with them. Tears and blood aplenty. Those light sabres were unbreakable, the amount of injuries they caused over the years was pretty alarming, now I think about it.

I'm not sure I'd allow that sort of mayhem to go on between my kids. I really do wonder what the fuck my parents were thinking sometimes.

Holy shit, I'd forgotten about that!
*When we were really young we used darts.

  • When I was 15 I went to visit family in a town about an hours drive from Chicago, cousin was ex Vietnam Special Forces and his younger brother and me got to play with real guns. Never had a play with the Stirling sub machin gun though.

    BAr raised.

    shrinks away
