We've had a long love affair of approximately 12 days. Unfortunately I don't think it's feasible to do what I want it to do (off-road camping trips in New Zealand). Gate sized 23" c-t-c both downtube and toptube, reasonably good nick - scuffs and scratches but everything is fine mechanically. The LH shifter is a bit stiff and it has a puncture but that's it. Tange butted tubing on both frame and forks. Selling for what I bought it for - £90 collected from COVENTRY city centre
Next is a Dawes Kingpin.
If you know owt about retro folders, you'll know this is the Rolls Royce of 'em. Mechanically fine aside from needing a new cotter pin. Would probably clean up really nicely. Has the original mudguards, dynamo, rack and pump (pump's knackered) as well as some surprisingly high-quality Michelin tyres! I also have a ridiculously long 450mm seatpost for it which I'll throw in for a tenner - I'm 6ft with long legs and I just about need it.
£70 collected from COVENTRY
And finally is my Kona Fire Mountain.
Singlespeed mongrel of a bike with DIY chain tensioner and dodgy cable routing. Kona Chromoly tubing on frame and forks. V-Brakes, DMR wingbars, and good tyres. Super duper fun. £150 posted (it's in Essex)
Also got:
New set of Jagwire road racer cables £15, new in packaging
Deda Piega compact drop bars £10, fitted but never used
On-One Midge bars £20, new in packaging
Bontrager tubular aluminium rack, used £15
1960s Campagnolo rear derailleur in bits £10
Fizik Microtex bar tape, white, new in box £12
1960s/70s Suntour ratcheting bar-end shifters £18
Turbo saddle, original late 80s, used but in good nick, brown - £20
