I'm building up a rather vintage mountain bike frame with new(er) parts, most of the problems I've come across I've been able to bodge and over come, but this is something else. I bought some tektro v brakes as an upgrade for the old cantilevers but upon instaling them I reallised the "spring hole" is on the wrong side of the braze on ( its on the outside rather than the in).
