Seriously guys, y'all need to be taking care of your knees during the winter.
I have some half decent waterproof trews from an army surplus store, cost me about £20. I think they are some kinda GoreTex type material.
They ain't very long and the fit at the bottom is shit so I roll them up a bit.
On top I use a £5 Decathlon bin bag. Yeah it gets sweaty but I've washed it every time I've worn it and it's still waterproof.
