  • and i want to build a rear wheel. Any thoughts on the best hub, spokes and rims to get?

  • Get the ones off ebay, they are generally the best.

  • Depends very much on your budget. The best? Phil Wood, DT Swiss and Mavic IMHO.

  • Bit OTT for a conversion job/my first SS surely...I really rate Halo rims and hubs for the price.

There's a thread for all thing wheel building here btw which is prob best place to get feedback: http://www.lfgss.com/thread951-9.html#post3236227

  • wrong forum, question that could be utfs'd, reasonable informative answers?
what is this place coming to?

  • Before you build that wheel ask yourself "Can my knees handle it?"
