A MOTORIST is due to appear in court today accused of killing a cyclist.

Jonathan Baird, 63, of Margaret Avenue in Chingford, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving over the death of 41-year-old Frank Mugisha.

Mr Mugisha, a father-of-four from Enfield, died in hospital six days after a crash in White Hart Lane, Tottenham, on March 27.

Mr Baird is scheduled to appear at Haringey Magistrates Court.
