I think it'll be getting sticker-bombed. Other alternative is rattlecanning it yellow, as is so cool right now.
Stalled a little as I try to work out what to do with the stem/bars/basket on no budget and also because I don't want to steal and then have to retension the rear wheel in my Peloton (riding it most days at the moment).

I think you should by some crabon effect vinyl and cover it in that.

There is a black zipp frame with a motobike fairing somewhere on the internet, I can't find it, but if you can, you could be inspired.

There's an abandoned mamachari at uni with only a rear wheel, missing lots of parts, etc. Looks to have a 700c rear, which I want. Is it ethical at this point to go along and make off with it?
-
• #42
Its only going to get taken away and chucked in a landfill so you may as well. Hell you can always go and put it back again when youre done with it ;p
-
• #43
how long was it there? I wouldnt worry if its over a month or something
-
• #44
What's happened to this build? On the backburner?
-
• #45
^Yes! We need updates!

Sitting half-built on my balcony at the moment. Trying to figure out what to do with the rear wheel - went back for that one at uni but it had been removed.
I haven't forgotten it, just been increasing my mileage a lot on my real bike (and now have another on the way)!
I have a bike fit booked for my new road bike... I'm almost tempted to take this along and ask them to fit it as well...

All you need is a tape measure, spirit level and plum line to copy a position from one bike to another.

I was kidding, more to see the look on the guy's face. I don't think it'd even be possible to properly fit this piece of shit.

any progress?

As soon as I have the time, I'm gonna do this to my mamachari! When I first bought it I was tempted to replace the rear wheel with a track wheel, just so i could do some sick skids! contemplating removing the rear mud guard and stand so I can wheely the fucker! might get to school with a muddy arse but I would be the coolest teacher in town!
please say this is still in progress! I wanna see the finished product!
Can't wait to see this slaved up! Can it have a flame paint job?
