best: camden road down to holloway road
worst: cannonbury roads peloton of RLJ'ing nodders

I don't do it anymore but the best bit was the mile long down (on the way in), up (on the way back) hill which was good fun.
Worst was the driving in the town, and on the national speed limit road into the town.

worst - the frosty start, with stiff legs and a fuzzy head as I roll out of st albans
best - strolling into the office in canary wharf, as the sun comes up feeling i've had the world to my self for a little bit before i lash myself to the desk for another jolly day.. -

There is no worst part. Apart from the headwind, occasionally.
Actually, that's a lie. The fact that the polis will pull you over for not wearing a magic hat is the worst part.
Is that docklands?

Depends who stops to help, I suppose. And whether your eyes meet over soggy minipump.

Wost: Oval
Other Worst: Numpty PoBs
Worster: Being in London in the first place
Worsted: A type of yarn used to make twill
Absolute Worst: Moronic driversBest: Richmond Park (when it's not closed for the deer cull), if I don't mind adding an extra 15km
Bester: Seeing so many cyclists on the road (but note second point above)
Bestest: Riding home whichever way takes my fancy, refreshing a jaded palate. -

And your large umbrella, which you graciously hold over them as they use your track pump. Just make sure they don't see the box of caltrops as you pull the track pump out of your bag.

Best part is cycling along a foot/cycle/Bridle-way - which cuts through some fields with horses in. Naaaahh
Worst part is negotiating Mothers driving their kids to the school close by the fields.
Also the part i enjoy is not so fun in the pitch dark.... negotiating the mud - I proper fell off last week and got very muddy. Luckily no one was around to see ! :)

Best: Amhurst Road on the way home - Hardly any traffic and a decent-ish surface all the way for a speedy glide.
Worst: Stamford Hill on the way home - Not particularly the hill itself, merely the fuckwittery of the driving people attempt up near the lights and junction.

Best: Waterloo Bridge southbound on the way home. Downhill, rarely any cars on the roundabout that late at night, take the whole lot at a fair lick.
Worst: Another vote for Shaftesbury Avenue. Tourists everywhere, most of them seemingly wearing blinkers, cars making last minute turns into Wardour St from the left lane, buses, taxis, mopeds. Absolute hell. Honourable mention to the Strand, Westbound.

Best: weekends on the CS7 route
Worst: weekdays on the CS7 route -

Old commute:
Best - getting a clear run north on Tottenham Court Road taking you all the way to Camden - if you get the lights you can absolutely fly, especially coming up to Mornington Crescent. Love stopping at the lights by Camden Tube with your heart bursting out your chest :-)
Worst - Kentish Town High Street. Busy, dangerous, woeful surface, puncture central, often a huge pallet of veg in the road by the station in the mornings as well. Plenty of crazy cyclists doing strange things in the traffic as well. Also hate Shaftsbury Avenue, so busy!
New commute:
Best - belting up the bus lane on Archway Road from the roundabout to Highgate tube. Sometimes end up with someone cheeky hanging off my back wheel... Never too sure about that!
Worst - Holloway road is never a massive attraction, lots of traffic, never feels safe, and you have to wait at the lights for ages in places. -

Best: Waterloo Bridge at Sunset.
Best: Richmond Park on a foggy morning.
Best: The drop in temperature as you go from riding though buildings and traffic to crossing a park or common on a frosty morning.
Best: Commuting on a MTB in the snow, setting off 30 mins early for extra playtime.Worst: Having fireworks launched at you.
**Best: **Getting to wests on le way home
worst: Getting of the coach and back on le bike in the dark, cold wastes of oxfordinhamshire to be blinded by oncoming aresclusters with high beams on.
