Talking about rules, a couple of issues regarding the ruleset weere raised from this weekends games.
**1) **Firstly, yesterday, with 15 seconds to go in the first half, Boagey was on the ball behind our goal, and someone took his wheel out with a mallet.
I would only say that perhaps we should've had a little extra time over the first half, say an extra minute (taking it to 31 minutes) to continue the advantage that we'd lost. We did have a good advantage, having possession of the ball and right next to your goal. I don't feel that it was a slight advantage as you imply.
Also, can somebody please define 'ball joint' for me. I got penalised for scooping the ball up and around my front wheel and scoring off it within the offensive half. The reason being it was called a 'ball joint'. I had always assumed a 'ball joint' is dragging the ball between mallet and ground and that this now isn't allowed in the offensive half. A definition here would help me understand if I can carry on playing like this or if I should adapt.
I do feel a little that the Bees got penalised a lot in that game; mis-called ball joint and goal, goals that were called as out, mallets under wheels and no turnover. Not having a go, just that was my impression. (didn't help that it was so leafy!). Thanks for reffing Jordan.
