I'm confused now
For me "er"(comparative suffix) is always employed without "the" and always with "than", and "est" (comparative suffix too) is always employed with "the" and sometimes with "of"
Why is that wrong then?
And I don't find it sad, English isn't my mother tongue, I'm genuinely interested.
