So I'm putting gears back onto one of my bikes, its running a Shimano lx 9 speed shifter and because of the small cassette I want a short cage rear mech, will a Shimano 105 10 speed work? Either 5600 or 5700?
Got the 5600 on my gt so would probably put that onto this bike and the new 5700 onto my gt with 5600 shifters.
Will that work? I've read something about Shimano 10 speed mtb and road parts not working together?
