• Most of the stems were polished for use on my own builds but I ended up using different sizes of the same item.

Polished 1980s 170mm Sakae chainset with new c/ring bolts and NOS polished YES 46t 1/8" c/ring. Theads and tapers are mint as this chainset had minimal use BITD. I have around £15 in the ring and bolts alone so I'll need £25 + post (around £5) for them as I'm up north. (PP gift ideally)

The chainset hasn't been used since polishing - I test fitted the driveside crank to a 118mm BB and it gave me a chainline of 43.5mm. I didn't tighten it up too much so you might be able to get closer to 42 by doing so or maybe using a 115mm spindle BB would get you there.

I have 5 stems for sale. First is the black 130mm NOS RaceFace Prodigy stem. 1 1/8", 8 degree rise, 25.4mm clamp. £10 posted.

X2 Race Face Evolve 25.4mm, 6 degree, 110mm stems. £15 each posted. These were originally black and I retained the black recessed area with the original RF logos which was very tricky to do. With new stainless stem bolts fitted. I have 2 in this size because the guy who sold it to me thought it was a 120 despite it having 110mm printed on the stem?

Bontrager Race Lite 110mm 26.0 stem, 7 degree, £15 posted. Main body was machine polished as was the Bontrager logo.

Polished FSA XC190 stem. 25.4mm, 110mm (120 when flipped) 17 degree rise. I stripped and polished this one because I needed an ahead stem that would be horizontal or slope down slightly so it looked OK with track bars. I ended up using a 100mm stem on my Denton project as 120 would have been too long. SOLD

Pic of a 90/100mm xc190 fitted to show the angle created when stem is flipped - bike has no bars fitted as it lives behind my wardrobe ATM.

Prices are firm on these items as they all had shot-peened finishes which had to be smoothed out by hand before I could even think about polishing them...
