I'll tell you what. Next week I'll do it your way and you try my way.
I will call people out for any wrongdoing and you lot just ignore them and let them get on with it.
We will see who has the most enjoyable weeks commute.
Lovely

He does have a point, although he can't spell you're, which is annoying.

I bet a toddler would absorb more force in an impact than a helmet.
safety first and all that.

It's not about having an enjoyable commute. Its that your (well not yours obviously) advice might save the recipient's life, and motorists' attitude towards cyclists might improve if they see less lawbreaking.

He's wearing a nice hat in that pic.

I saw someone doing that on a hire bike along Charlotte St. Wouldn't do it myself, but TBH, I've seen kerbside buggies pushed into more dangerous positions.

It really doesn't matter how much of a non-story it is, if there's some way of connecting cycling with danger or irresponsible behaviour, it will get reported (while wars and other trivialities go unreported).

I like how they keep saying the person who took the pic was definitely the front seat passenger, but doesn't want to be named. Angle does look like it could be taken from the drivers position.

I... Lost the plot this morning.. Happy go lucky ride as ever up the OKR.. Bus on left. Right shoulder look, gentle overtake..
From my left a nodder yells at me to pull out to let him through. I hold my line, overtake the bus and then calmly tell him if he's that fast he should overtake me rather than try undertake.
He unleashes a torrent of abuse and tells me I was cutting him up and should of let him through. I tell him, again, overtake not undertake..
He calls me a cunt.
Red mist drops.
I punch him in the kidney.. He wobbles.. I tell him to stop, get off the bike and call me a cunt and I'll kick his fucking teeth in..
He cycles off quickly round bricklayers roundabout..
Don't feel good about it really.. Only human though..
#head to I confess thread.

^brixtonjones will be so proud of you

You punched another rider in the kidneys while in traffic and threatened them further?
Bad form dude.

We're not supposed to be trying cycling the BrixtonJones way until next week, Brave.
-
• #5470
I've never actually seen them posting at the same time…
-
• #5471
But then I suppose starting it this week without the preceding warning is more in the spirit of the thing
-
• #5472
Did you get any scuffs or marks on your Rapha kit?
-
• #5473
I tell him to stop, get off the bike and call me a cunt and I'll kick his fucking teeth in..
That's tantamount to a warning Brave. Did you not get the recent memo?
NEVER give a warning.

This is why;
TfL's unwritten highway code is to undertake vehicles.

My gf called out a guy for having a rusty, poorly kept bike today.
Is it time to start calling out rusty chains? And people who only have about 20psi in their mtb tiers? "Do you know anything about rolling resistance never mine the risk of flats?". Then I'll kill em with judo.
I'll tell you what. Next week I'll do it your way and you try my way.
