I may be able to help... I got introduced to Graham this morning! As well as building his own frames he worked for Thorn tandems for many years. Not that this is a huge amount of help, but I wouldn't mind betting he'd be able to tell you all you needed to know about a particular frame... I am of course well aware that your original post is from some time ago, so this may be of no use whatsoever! :)
