There was a thread by Velocio about funding, where was it? I meant to read it but lost the link.

Also, will hanging bikes from hooks damage rims? I'm moving into a new flat and need to get a few bikes out of harms way.
-
• #37410
Unless your bike weighs more than you do the rims will be fine. you want to be careful with plastic wheels though.

I need some advice regarding painkillers.
Nothing I try seems to alleviate the pain which has been fluctuating between bad and fnuking terrible since Friday night - Co-dydramol, Tramadol or Paracetomol.
Are there any particularly good combo's I should try or alternative remedies which have worked for others?
I'm getting really depressed and desperate.

Where is the pain and what is causing it?
-
• #37416
^ Mainly in my chest because of some fractured ribs and a lot of bruising.
Also cuts on my head, tongue and a bashed shoulder.

Ouch. What happened?

Paracetamol + ibuprofen is as good as you'll get without prescription opiates.

prescription opiates.
^This is what you need. Demerol worked a treat for my snapped ribs, but that was 15 years ago and it has gone out of favour, so ask your doctor for whatever is in fashion this week.

But seriously the co-codamol + ibuprofen mix is the best over the counter

They gave me Tramadol in A&E, and when I went back to ask for a second opinion they just said 'take more'.
I like these alcohol suggestions though...

WRT prescription opiates, oramorph is the most effective painkiller I've used; it was the only thing that did the trick when I fucked my hand. It also seemed to have less side effects than tramadol, at least for me - I felt a bit funky, but tramadol and co-codamol just made me feel ill. Don't know if you can get it on prescription, worth an ask I guess. Also, keep on the ibruprofen, it really helps with swelling. Good luck!

Not enjoying the side effects of Tramadol.
Will try ibuprofen.
What does ^ and>>>> mean?
they appear in this forum like a rash.
