• Hi all,

bought this frame a few weeks ago off a local chap. I went round his house to look at a car and saw a pedal creeping out, my curiosity got the better of me, I had to ask him about it. At first, the bike was so dusty I couldn't even tell the colour of it, literally looked like it hadn't been touched for maybe 30 years. The old boy who had it is the original owner, and repainted the bike himself (sadly..) and know it's a 531 frame but can't think of the brand for the life of him. I went through every single brand I could think!

I knew it was too big for me but it had awesome parts which I wanted for my bike, so I have no use for the frame. The bike was 40% there, so I haven't ripped an original bike apart, it was just frame + forks, crank, headset plus bar and stem. Paint is in pretty rough condition, it was originally bright red. All threads are perfect, ready to use. No rusting to the inside of the frame or cracks. The frame does have a very very small ding (I assume by the bars) which is so shallow, with a little bit of sandpaper and once repainted, it would no appear.

Frame doesn't have shifter bosses, rather a cable pass. Ideal frame for fixed conversion if you where to cut these off, or build original.

Not 100% sure on the make, but I know it's a 531 frame with campagnolo ends (I can make out the 'C' and 'NOLO' on the droupouts, plus 'NOL' on the forks)

Rear spacing is 130mm and BB is 68mm, takes 700c's

*I do have a Ofmega BB + crank which is original to the bike which I can include for £23, plus cinelli giro bar & stem for £17, plus I've got a billion or so tubular wheelsets, so if you'd like parts to build this up, I can include them at a real great price.

    Looking for £62 posted
