Last time I did that, I a van crashed right into me. Whatever he took my eye contact as, only he knew.Admittedly, I am still anxious at junctions 6 months after... Besides, with the last driver who near hit me, we did make eye contact, but he obviously thought I signalled him to go. Like I said, a few cars where tailgating each other, nobody looked, I guess if I were driving a car, I might have ended up in the same situation.
