Awesome, thanks John.
Like John said, this is a great opportunity to help out a bit and gain some new friends along the way as well. London Open looks to be the biggest polo event of the year anywhere in the world this year, it would be a shame to miss it!
If you feel you want to help out with housing, feel free to also email me directly on mark.a@lhbpa.org and I can connect you with a team in need of a roof.
Thanks!

Bump! This is a great opportunity for people looking to travel in future, I have been put up in Paris, Brussels, Berlin and Rouen by polo players returning the favour... if you have even a tiny bit of space then please offer it up! (especially in East London, riding miles in a polo gear after a hard days playing can be really unenjoyable)

I'd like to potentially offer a couple of sofa's in a grimey studio in Limehouse. I may be at a Festival with my band so I'll have to see.

Thanks to everyone who've come forward. You should all have had a pm. At the moment I'm just waiting for teams to come back to me with their plans, a lot of them are at various tournaments/time zones, so it's taking a little while. Nonetheless, your support is massively appreciated!
Cheers,

This. Couldn't have been much happier with how the housing went, I heard no issues from anyone at all.
Thanks very much for this year everyone! Hope you had a good time with your guests and that everything went smoothly. Hopefully we will be as lucky next year and be able to offer as much housing as we did.

Hey London, many thanks for the great fun and awesome tournament. Well done Jono for an enormous task of organization.
I had an incredible time. It's always a pleasure to see the community together.
On another note, I lost my Leatherman multi tool at the Hackney Courts during the blinding drunk after-party nude polo extravaganza... If someone found it, please hit me up!!! metaman77(at)gmail.com
Thanks again peeps!!! I hope to see everyone again soon!!!

You can probably unsticky this thread now.
As you may be aware, the London polo community are hosting the London Open in Bethnal Green Gardens from Friday 24th - Sunday 26th August.
We'd love to have all of you come along, sit in the park, drink a beer, and watch some of the best bike polo players in the world (hopefully including the world and european champions), and many lfgss forum members.
But a lot of the players have travelled a long way to get here, from North America, Australia, Japan and all over Europe. We are trying to offer them free housing, but at the moment we haven't managed to house all the teams within the polo community.
If anyone has a free floor/sofa/bed, especially in the East London area (but anywhere is useful), it would really help someone out.
Polo players are great people, and they will be really appreciate it. There is a volunteers beer keg at the Open, which anyone housing can drink from, and in addition you'll make new friends across the world, who'll look after you if you are ever in the area.
So if you are interested, just post here, or pm nesbit or myself.
Thanks, and hopefully see you in a few weeks in Bethnal Green Gardens, regardless if you can help or not.
