Along the lines of this, the German sprint guys were in the velodrome (Glasgow) today.
They were storing most of their stuff at the track but Forstemann took his bike away, I was walking him out and asked if he liked to keep it close and take care of it, he replied, in typical Germanic deadpan, "I need it vor zee trenning".
