The exception to the rule is if you are going to sprint up bear road on at least a 90" gear. Going at least at 40mph, THEN i would permit it. Otherwise you'd be a fucking idiot to jump those lights! There are a combined 15 lanes on and off of that junction...

One of them was heading that way. Jumped the set by Sainsburys and rolled to a stop at the set at the base of Bear Road.
If he'd waited he would of had the extra road to of got the head of steam needed to tackle that hill!

Around Shoreditch, SO many singlespeeds with just the front brake. I'm really surprised there arn't more accidents. Unless there are but they go unreported.

So many idiots without lights at the moment too. :-(

• #12
Yet more idiots without lights even after the clocks went back.
I do wonder however if it due to 'teh kidz' not being able to afford to drive a car? I started driving at 17 and had a Mini soon afterwards. It taught me how difficult it is to see other traffic on the road and how you have to be aware of everything around you.

Yes because obviously there's no stupid motorists.

Yes because obviously there's no stupid motorists.
big difference between cyclists and motorist, especially student age ones.
you have to spend a load of cash to be trained up to use the road legally with a car, you have to spend a load of cash to be insured on the road and the slightest hiccup in car and your insurance policy goes through the roof. you have a lot to loose in a car, the stakes are higher. plus you have to be educated to use the road.
none of that applies to cyclists, hence the stupid riding that goes on, especially in Brighton where a lot of cyclists dont drive or ride motor bikes, so have no real idea of how to use the road properly.
since i have lived here ive seen about 2 cars run a red light, i see countless bikes on a daily basis run reds. thats just one stupid thing, as car drivers go very little stupid goes on compared to cyclists.

It's a mystery to all of the male species...
Two of them. On 'trendy bikes''
On the outlet of Vogue Gyratory to Lewes Road past the bus garage.
DO NOT jump red lights here, it is one of the most dangerous junctions in Brighton for cyclists. And RLJ'ers piss off motorists big time, pissed off motorists mean I get in the neck when I commute to work.
You are on helmetcam BTW.
Cunt's.
