The bead lips are 20mm apart on the Iron Cross, and 21mm on the on the Crest.
It was too wide for me as the the tyre rubbed up against the forks, pushing the tyre bead off the rim.
Should have worked fine if there was better clearance, and 28c+ would have sat even better.
Which is why I'll probably still use it or the Crest on my ever hopeful CX bike.
