  • "behaviour change" - does shooting at range rover drivers count?

  • 'The CTC, the national cycling *charity'. *I was under the impression that it was a club, as in Cyclists' Touring Club.

  • Oh don't start that off here

  • Sorry, I'm really not clear what you mean?

  • They just got made a charity or something.

  • there was a CTC club and a CTC charity, and for all sorts of reasons the management proposed a merger of both into one charity, which became rather poisonous

  • The posholder

I can be posh, and older, but the rest of it counts me out.

So they're looking for a quartermaster retired from the SAS, whom can read a map, is a bit of a jobsworth and knows how to count paperclips, make tea, answer the phone, knows how to design in Word and Excel. Plays darts with the local bobby and has knowledge of the vicar's sexual activities.
Oh, and he/she once rode a bike to the library in the next village, is seen as a bonus - but not essential.

    My dream job has arrived!

  • Yeah, shame that isn't it? Means you'll need to see at least 10k of non-taxable benefits, or attract the less qualified.

  • Or decent people for whom money is not their only motivation.

  • That's certainly possible- an older individual whose kids have left home maybe.
