I have a beginners question that might as well go in here:
When you put a pista chainring on a strada crank, does the extra thickness of the track chainring mean that it doesn't sit flush with the spider arms? Or is the extra thickness only in the teeth and not in the bit where the bolt holes are?
I don't mind using a strada crankset as long as I don't have to alter it to make it work.
