On offer is a Carlton Ten road bike from the 1960s, I think, approx 55cm. The number on the left drop-out is 149544. It seems original for the most part: Sturmey Archer rims; large flange Brampton hubs; geared, but with one of those old rear hubs on which you can go fixed on the other side; Carlton hoods; Sturmey Archer forged stem; Huret Svelto derailleur (with famous toothless jockey wheels); metal headbadge and two of the "C" nuts present . The paintwork is ok, but shows signs of age. It definitely would benefit from a clean and a touch-up, but it rides smoothly enough. I'm looking for £110 or an exchange for something similar or a decent frameset. Collection in south-east London or posting at cost. Please pm if interested.
