@jaw: it wasn't on my list of places to live, but the missus got a job that pays a great salary and she was offered it when all the shit weather started in May for six weeks or so.
I'm 37 and have never lived or worked anywhere other than here, apart from six months in the Alps where I pulled pints and hung out the back of toff dori in Meribel.
Besides, I really want to miss London.
