No problem mister. Much better idea to have a flock of events, that everyone can choose from. Some have other commitments, which lock them out of the 17th.
You never know, maybe even a few of us might get a pass to visit both inspiring cities, over the space of a single weekend.
Oh, and Hats, would certainly take you up on your kind offer, if I can get along to both rides. I think I have some explaining to do, to your Mum, after the Prosecco snaps!
