I did it fixed last year, really enjoyed it, and don't remember any horrible leafy parts. And I'm a coward / have no bike skills.
I do remember a lot of standing around, though (see up thread). Would be v keen to do again, as long as we agree to a strict imposition of the 'quick pint and out' rule at the pub on the way. Or someone buys me chips.
