I am giving up on stelvio / kojak tyres on my brompton. They look good, take higher pressure, feel good to ride, but they are so fragile... I do not make a lot of miles on my Brompton, and I had to replace the rear tyre twice in the last couple of years, not because there is no rubber left, but because the walls get damaged so easily. My ones kept getting cuts and I don't abuse my bike, no off road, nothing like this, just normal commuting. I'm back on ugly Marathon tyres now. It kills the aesthetics, but, fuck it, repairing a puncture on the rear wheel on the side of a dark road is too much of a pain.
I was given a voucher of £30 by my colleagues at work for my bday and used it to order some MKS EZY pedals, and will be using cages and straps, finally!
