How many books do you read at any one time?

Anywy back to Nexus. So I'll be getting one as soon as they come out, but I have no idea what I can do about tarrifs. Presumably there are companies other than the usual Orange/O2/EE/etc from whom I can buy a monthly phoning allowance and I assume it will be a load cheaper than usual if I'm not getting a phone as well? Any suggestions as to where to look?

It's more a case of it being a lot easier to hoard books on a kindle in a small flat.
