Interested to see them without a cog, this is what happened last time I encountered a hub avec cog but no rim...

ahhh..the schoolboy error of unlacing a wheel without getting the cog off first.. thats gonna be a bitch to lace again.. or, youre gonna have to get some nasty vice clampmarks on your nice hubs...

Could be just hand wound onto the threads? Who knows.

Yeah I know...Realized that after. Completely silly of me. I was just in the hurry to get those off of the ugly rims they were laced to. There's no way I could remove cog without damages ?

Can you build it back up again temporarily?

Cut the cog off? Might seem drastic but beats risking destroying the hub...

No I can't actually, don't have the skills or money to spend on a new building. Is it only possible to lace it again with the cog on ?

I thought about cutting the cog off, seems extreme though.

If you could unlace it without cutting the spokes, you should be able to relace.

btw do you have the lockring for this? I reckon it may be a french thread...

I don't have the lockring for this as it was used on track years ago. French thread for sure it is.

Anyway, apart from my mistake, it's not really a problem if you plan to build them up. Ain't they supposed to be mounted at the end ?

That's what I've been told, thanks. I'd prefer to sell those and let the buyer deal with it.

Piece of cake, I've done it many times. Lace 3 or 4 spokes at drive side and an old rim. Easy to take off the cog without any damage.

Depends how tight the cog is on, we tried that first with the miche I posted.
