So when I lived in Sydney 12 years ago I walked past a watch shop and FELL IN LOVE. I needed to own this watch. I used to walk via this shop, out of the way, from work every day just perv at it, sometimes going in to try it on. I'd make sure it was a different member of staff each time incase they thought I was mental. I finally got it for my 21st birthday. Then I barely wore it! Too chunky for my paltry wrists. Then I thought I'd lost it. Over a decade later, and several stone in body weight, the shoe finally fits, and I love it not one jot less than I did all that time and distance ago/away. It's not expensive, it's only quartz, but I love it all the same.
The face is actually shiny foil like BlueQuinn's bikes <3
