    Nexus 4 has:

    1GB more RAM
    2 more CPU cores
    less storage (depending on model)
    3 more megapixels in the camera
    slightly larger battery
    4 more pixels per inch
    An IPS screen (brighter colour, but some ghosting on high contrast long running apps)
    Later version of Bluetooth

    Everything else = much the same.

    As I've said a grillion times, the differentiator isn't the hardware it is the software. And Android 4.2 will come to the Galaxy Nexus so there is no need to get the Nexus 4 if you already have a Nexus phone.

    If you don't have a Nexus phone, then this new Nexus rules the roost as it will likely receive software updates farther into the future than any other phone on the market... so it represents a very safe bet.

    The differences in hardware are so subtle that unless you have a compelling reason, save your money... Galaxy Nexus is still a great phone.
