Thats awesome Matt! hope youre having fun. i think the worlds next year might be in florida
That's interesting. There were people from Gainesville, Tallahassee, Orlando and a few other local places playing. Perhaps 15 in total, all were really nice. A couple offers to loan me a bike, loads of mallets in a golf bag to loan out, ordered in three massive pizzas to share out. Reminded me a lot of the DIY attitude to putting on house shows for bands etc
The court was on the 4th floor of a multi storey, the whole width of the floor with the court ends made of L shaped boards (1ft tall piece of ply, nailed to a 4x4" fence post in roughly 4ft lengths). All of it could be disassembled and put into a wooden cart, kind of like the cages that Asda have for shelf stocking. The cart was designed so it fit inside the car park lifts and lives in the back garden of the nearest polo player to the car park. Goals were also made out of wood.
I'll sort some photos out on the flight back or tomorrow when I'm home.
